Adding links

Adding a link using a WYSIWYG tool bar

  1. Check to make sure your logged in. If your not it's usually: yourdomian.com/user.
  2. Edit or create the new content y. When you create a page in your website Drupal creates a path address with help from the pathauto module. If the page is already created you will need to find it. Go to yourdomian.com/admin/content/node. From there your might want to filter by content type to make it easier to find. Once you find the page you want the link to go to, go to it and copy the path address from your browsers' address bar.
  3. Go to the page you want to add the link to, and edit it.
  4. Type your text of the link in the field with the CKeditor toolbar available. For example "more info".
  5. Select the text you want to make a link. If you would like to add the link to an image, select the image.
  6. Find and click on the Insert/ Edit Link button on the formatting tool bar. If you don't have a formatting tool bar you need to have the CK editor installed.
